Spinning Wildfire: Artist Interviews

After a two-year hiatus, Spinning Wildfire is back. And this time, even more powerful than ever.

Spinning Wildfire is a powerful art exhibition and aftershow party which spotlights the explosive talents of the Queer and BIPOC community in Meanjin.

This year, over 65+ creative workers will showcase their talents at this year’s exhibition on June 1st, ranging from fire twirlers, DJs, artists, dancers, florists, tattoo artists, and everything in-between.

Representing both QUT Journalism Network and 4ZZZ Radio, I met with just a few of these incredible artists to discuss their works and the challenges that Brisbane’s diverse art community continue to face.
